The cargo ship "Atlantic Span" is the first of a new fleet of "container" ships which have stern ramps, allowing vehicles to drive right on board, cutting loading time to a fraction. The ship is docked at a shipping yard. Cargo is loaded onto it. A car drives aboard the ship via a ramp. It slowly moves through an expansive holding deck. Tables covered in white table cloths are set up to entertain guests.
