Homage To Heroes: England Remembers Battle of Britain
It was just 25 years ago that a few Spitfires and Hurricanes and a handful of pilots stood between Britain and total defeat at the hands of Hitler. Now, a generation later, that Battle of Britain is remembered as tribute is paid to those RAF fliers and their leader, in Westminster Abbey. Lady Churchill and her family are here as well as members of that gallant band who turned the tide of World War II, as Queen Elizabeth unveils a plaque honoring Sir Winston Churchill.
