The first group of American wounded in guerrilla raids on the Vietnam front, arrive back in the United States. Even as they land in the U.S., new Vietcong bombing attacks take more American lives. Also returning are the first of 1,829 dependents who have been ordered home. The first group of Americans wounded in Vietnam arrive back into the United on a United States Air Force transport plane. Inside the transport plane cots have been set up to house the wounded soldiers in transport from Vietnam to San Francisco. Wounded and bandaged up soldiers laying on their cots inside the transport plane. Eighteen hundred American dependents are returned back to the United States. Americans getting united with other family members in the airport lounge. that's been set up for family members.
