The Air Force reveals a new technique for rescuing pilots in remote areas. A balloon lifts a 500 foot line aloft and a rescue plane snags the cord and reels the downed pilot. The air force reviews a new rescue device, they release a helium filled balloon floats a line 500 feet long and the man braces himself as the rescue plane nears. The life line is snagged by the plane and he is reeled in as the plane flies overhead.
