Wind, snow and icy cold was the weather story through most of the nation as the Atlantic Coast experiences a true blizzard. From Florida to Maine there are record low temperatures as the storm dumps as much as 20 inches on some southern states. Washington D.C. is without train service for eleven hours and Federal employees are told to stay home. On the surface, however, the snow makes a pretty picture.
