He runs second in the Mile as Jim Grilla runs him down, in the last lap. In the Two Mile, Keino paces himself better and takes command at the end to win going away. Meanwhile, John Pennel sets a new mark in the pole vault -- 16 feet, 9 1/2 inches. Los Angles, California Charlie Green of Nebraska ties the indoor mark for the 60-yard dash.
