Six days of blizzards maroon huge areas of the Southwest. Six deaths are reported and many Indian reservations are isolated. Air Force helicopters air-drop food, medicine, and feed the livestock and wild game. Snow covered trees and hills. A plow clears the roads and deer run across the road.
