Underdog Navy upsets Army, 19-14, in their traditional inter-Service battle in Philadelphia's Kennedy Stadium. Brilliant passing by Navy quarterback John Cartwright plus tight defense gains the win. Army's sophomore quarterback Jim O'Toole leads a Cadet fourth-quarter drive for two T.D.'s but it's too little, too late. A black screen reads, "Football - Navy 19 - Army 14." Miniature football figurines, buttons and ribbons are sold outside John F. Kennedy Stadium. Soldiers wearing white caps march. Soldiers make square formations in the field prior to the start of the game. Soldiers run up the bleachers to their seats. Others march in formation around the outside track.
