Rally Battles Snow Storms. Snow adds to the hazards of the Monte Carlo Rally, often termed the world's toughest road race. It's over icy roads down to the warm coast where switchbacks call for skillful driving. This year's victors are a team from Sweden. A road sign (CU) indicating slippery when wet.
