MS and tight LS of the press, police and public milling about waiting and watching for the president's arrival at the Lab. Aerial of helicopters flying in. Low angle LS of two military helicopters landing on a makeshift helipad outside the lab. The first chopper carries LBJ (Lyndon Johnson) while the second has JFK (John F. Kennedy). Johnson and members of his entourage walking from helicopter and towards the facility.

Press photographers file out of a small door to follow the motorcade to a small football field. 6000 people are in attendance. Many are held back by fencing as the local high school band plays Hail to the Chief . Great MS of the eager crowd, all smiling and watching and listening, some taking stills, others taking motion film (8mm and 16mmm cameras).

The presidential motorcade arrives. President John F. Kennedy steps onto the elevated podium where he is introduced. Panning shot of excited men, women and children taking photos and smiling as they wait for JFK to speak. They applaud enthusiastically.

The motorcade arrives at the helipad and the helicopter takes off.
