Billy Casper and Arnold Palmer meet in an 18 hole playoff to decide the winner of the 66th U.S. Open Championship at Olympic Golf Club, San Francisco. The day before, Palmer had blown a 7-stroke lead to Casper. Casper cards a 69 to win it by four strokes!
